Isabella is a Boston born, New York City based artist who received her BFA from the Fashion Institute of Technology with a Minor in Art History. Her traditional practice embraces oil painting, and currently investigates abstracting marine biological forms within and outside of their natural habitats. Her practice also operates at the intersection of art and science, conducting biologically driven projects ranging from creating small scale sculptures out of living cells, to using bacteria and other sustainable materials to create completely eco-friendly and re-growable art materials.
